UCI Saturdays with Scientists

UCI Saturdays with Scientists (SWS) is a new program for community college students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math majors and careers!  For five Saturdays during 2008-09, students will visit UCI and engage in hands-on activities with some of the world's TOP researchers! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!

Program Benefits:
  • Get to know and work with UCI scientists in a small group setting!
  • Learn how to be competitive in the UC transfer process!
  • Explore career options!
  • EARN a paid stipend of up to $725!!!
  • A.B. 540 students may participate in the program, but are not eligible for the paid stipend.

Program Eligibility:
  • Must be a science, technology, engineering, or math major
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0+
    (students below 3.0 may apply with a recommendation)
  • Must be interested in UCI as a possible transfer university
  • New students are eligible!
