Student Initiated Academic Preparation

The Student Initiated Academic Preparation (SIAP) Program, formerly known as Student Initiated Outreach, provides funding to student organizations that are seeking to implement projects which focus increasing the academic achievement and development of educationally disadvantaged high school students in order to assist them in preparing for a post-secondary education.

SIAP provides UCI undergraduates the opportunity to make a deep impact on the development and college preparation of local high school students. Through their respective student initiated programs, UCI undergraduates are able to empower and motivate high school students to excel academically and to develop a passion for learning.
