Oct 21, 2006 - On Saturday, 200 students from four High Schools (King Drew, Centennial, Compton, and Dominguez High), came over to UCI to participate in UC Irvine MESA's annual "I'm Going to College Day" event. Each year students are brought to learn about college and how to ease their transition from high school to college.
High School Seniors had the opportunity to go over the UC Application Process, while freshmens, sophomores, and juniors had the opportunity to get lectured by a Princeton Review speaker who talked to students about examinations needed to graduate and to go to college.
The rest of the day there were other workshops that students attended, learning about EAP or A-G requirements.
