U-Link

U-Link is a transfer admissions program with Santa Ana College for students interested in attending UCI and other four year universities.

Purpose

The purpose of the University Link program is to provide academically qualified high school students from the Santa Ana Unified School District schools with the opportunity to attend Santa Ana College with guaranteed admission to UCI.

Program Benefits

  • Guaranteed admission to UCI from SAC upon competing program requirements.
  • SAC enrollment priority through EOPS and Freshman Experience*
  • UCI transfer house and library privileges
  • Opportunity to be part of UCI on-campus programs and activities throughout the year.

* Provided to all new students attending Santa Ana College.

Program Requirements at SAC

  • Must complete all required SAC courses with a minimum 2.75 GPA (additional GPA and course requirements are required for certain majors).
  • Must agree to release academic progress information to UCI.
  • Must apply for financial aid and scholarship programs.
  • Must complete English and Math placement test at SAC.
  • Must complete transfer preparation courses within 3 years.
  • Must meet with a U-Link counselor one time per semester.
  • Must complete an additional U-Link activity each semester.
  • UC transfer units must total 60.

Application Process

All University Link applicants must attend a program orientation at Santa Ana College.  To sign up for the next orientation meeting, call Santa Ana College's University Transfer Center at (714) 564-6165.
