Summer Scholars Transfer Institute (SSTI)

SSTI is a unique residential program, made possible through collaboration between Santa Ana College and UCI’s CFEP Community College Programs. Participants stay at the UCI dorms and can complete an intensive UC transferable course in 10 days. In addition, students have access to UCI computer and library facilities. The 2007 program will run from Friday, July 27 until Sunday, August 5.

2007 Courses:

• Political Science 101 - Intro to American Government
• Physical Science 117 - Physical Science Survey
• Sociology 140 - Analysis of Social Trends and Problems

Eligibility:

• Enrolled at Santa Ana Community College
• Have completed or are currently enrolled in English 101
• Are eligible for Math 080 (Int. Algebra)
• Have completed 24 transferable units by the end of Spring 2007
• Have a minimum transferable GPA of 2.4

Students are Responsible for:

• $40 program fee
• textbook costs
• Santa Ana College Registration Fee $80
