CAMP
Summer Science Academy (CSSA):
The CAMP Summer Science Academy (CSSA) for entering freshmen
is a program that prepares incoming freshmen for the transition
from high school to UC Irvine. Students live on campus and enroll
in university level courses according to their level and major(s).
Students receive academic credit for their coursework. CSSA
has been offered at UC Irvine for the past 16 years. To learn

CAMP Summer Science Scholars:
CAMP's
Summer Science Scholars Program enables UCI students to conduct
research at UCI or various research centers during the summer.
Under the mentorship of a faculty research advisor, students
are introduced to the challenging and fascinating world of academic
research. Furthermore, students may prepare a presentation and
present their findings at various conferences throughout the
year. Summer Scholars have gone on to present at conferences
around the country in cities such as: Boston, Miami, Chicago,
St. Louis, New Orleans, Austin, and many others!
